With an objective to promote social, cultural, educational and environmental actions, FSL India organises Work Camps all across India throughout year. Many international and local volunteers participate in the Work Camps. By participating in the community services through work camps the volunteers learn local culture and values. Updates on Work Camps of FSL India (November and December 2011)

FSL India organises Work Camps throughout year with a view to increasing social, cultural, educational and environmental actions in the rural and urban areas. Both International and local volunteers participate in the Work Camps which offer opportunities to volunteers to learn local culture and values for life through cooperative actions and community services. FSL hosted six work camps in August: Bangalore, Coorg, Kundapur and Kerala in the South and Dharamsala and Kolkata in the North India. In Bangalore, 12 volunteers from 8 different countries took part in the work camp. They taught the children English, maths, dance, songs, games and awareness of health and hygiene. FSL-Work Camps in July 2011

In the month of July, FSL hosted 10 work camps in different parts of India including bilateral camps. Four work camps were bilateral camps. Eighty two volunteers from eighteen different countries took part in these work camps. In Kudapur, 14 volunteers worked for 2 weeks in a school. In the month of June, FSL hosted 4 work camps in different parts of India. Three of the work camps were in South India: – Kundapur, Kannur and Mysore. One was in Dharamsala in North India.
