What comes to mind when you think of the abbreviation, TGIF? Thank God it’s Friday? An indication of a ‘Casual Friday’ or a ‘No Work’ day at the office? Right? WRONG!
The YDP-B officially turned 5 this year. Over the years, we have conducted several events that reflect our flexibility and diversity- clean-up drives, movie screenings, inter-cultural interactions, salsa workshops and self-defence lessons, to name just a few.
Last Saturday April 1st 2017, the HBP team conducted a session in Milagres College, Kalliampur (Udupi) on Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). This was the team’s second time in this college, but they felt as warmly welcomed as the first time.
From 6th – 26th March 2017, we had 3 volunteers from 3 different countries, i.e. France, Germany and South Korea who participated in an Environment/Renovation/ Tibetan Culture themed work camp at the ‘Himalayan Beauty’ Dhauladhar mountain range of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
Anaemia Control and Hygiene Promotion project is a CSR initiative implemented by FSL–India and funded by Apollo Foundation up to April 2017. The project area is in Vallam, Eraiyur, Sennakuppam, Mathur and Oragadam vilages at Kanjeepuram district.

In the month of March 2017, FSL-India LTV Bangalore region organized a Cultural Event (CE) at Mysore and Kanchipuram zones under the theme of ‘Religion.
In of March 2017, FSL India Bangalore hosted 2 Long Term Volunteers (LTVs) from Germany & Finland. The volunteers has attended different sessions in order to be well prepared for their successful journey in India.
