Community Participation in Mural Painting at Parampalli School In December 2012, the work camp on Sea Turtle Conservation ensured participation of local community in each and every activity to build ownership of the project. During mural painting, one of the favorite activities of the volunteers, local school children were involved enthusiastically to motivate the volunteer. During the work camp at Kundapur, awareness on Sea-Turtle Conservation was undertaken through several innovative ways. Puppet show is one such innovative way which motivated international volunteers and the community because of unique way of awareness creation. It was on 16th of November Kundapur tent school children had an excursion to beach and temple with FSL-India volunteers and teachers. A total 8 children from Kundapur tent school teachers and volunteers visited Marvante beach and Hattiangadi Vinayaka temple.
