Baikady Tent school’s Independence Day celebrations
On 15th August 2019, FSL-India celebrated India’s 73rd Independence Day at our Tent school project, with their own special ceremony. Both teachers came to Baikady to be present at this important moment. The community of Baikady helped prepare a temporary flag pole in front of the building. Various members of the community attended the ceremony including the Panchayat President. Speeches were given after the flag was raised and unfurled on high.
