A work camp was held at Kundapura from 2nd to 13th  November on sea turtle conservation and agriculture . A volunteer from Taiwan and other HBP volunteers were involved in this camp.  On the first day after an Indian welcome, volunteers were given orientation about HBP projects and the work schedule for 2 weeks.

For three days volunteers worked in the training center for sustainable agriculture projects by involving themselves in activities like planting fruit plants, collecting bio mass, protecting plants by fencing and nursery management work.  Volunteers also visited schools and gave sessions on sea turtle conservation to students. They also conducted a puppet show and organized a drawing competition and sand sculptures.  Local youth clubs participated actively and sponsored prizes for the winners.
