LTVs Orientation in Bangalore
In of March 2017, FSL India Bangalore hosted 2 Long Term Volunteers (LTVs) from Germany & Finland. The volunteers has attended different sessions in order to be well prepared for their successful journey in India.
FSL-India has developed some standard sessions which usually covered during the orientation week i.e.The traditional Indian welcome, expectations and fears, safety, introduction about FSL India, the Indian lifestyle, and social concerns of India, project information and Indian pedagogy,the volunteer’s role and responsibilities.
Volunteer Feedback :
- The orientation is very nice and useful
- There was a lot of useful information for example about working in India, travelling and what to expect from accommodation/host families and it will help because it reminds me of helpful information’s.
- All the information about necessary things like project/culture/travelling information, also shopping and henna tattoos were nice.
