Cultural event- Kundapur!

 The culture event  organised on 15th April 2016 with 2 volunteers who came’s in India as volunteers. They work with us like Orphanage children teachers in Mangalore. One of the programs in FSL India called cultural events where we take our regular volunteer to any cultural and historical places which are located in or around Mangalore.

Volunteer-India

In the morning at 11.30 am, 2 volunteers come to Mangalore. FSL India staff explained the plan of culture events then we went to Christine Marriage at Mangalore Church we had our lunch at Marriage function. Then we visit the Sultan Battery watch tower at Mangalore it is a Historical plaaces constructed in 1784 by Tipu Sultan is situated in Boloor,4 km from the centre of Mangalore city The place built of black stones was constructed to obstruct war ships from entering the river which was the major route for English invasion but was then retrieved from English by Tipu Sultan. After that we visit Tannir Bavi beach volunteers enjoying the every movement.

– It was nice to discover a wedding and really good food. Nice beach.

-Today wedding events was very nice. The wedding was a good experience we could see more of the Indian.

– It was also nice to meet other volunteer. Then the beach we went it is a beautiful place… thank you….
