At the beginning, i was really hot and\u00a0difficult to work with the soil but with positive energy and team work we\u00a0managed to create a kitchen garden of 5 beds and protect it from animals with<br \/>\nmetal sheets.\u00a0We planted chili, brinjal and tomato plants raised in our training center\u00a0and asked the people living in the tent community to look after them daily.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9951 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/kitchen-garden-blog-article-5.jpg\" alt=\"Volunteers-India-Tent school\" width=\"292\" height=\"219\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9950 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/kitchen-garden-blog-article-3.jpg\" alt=\"Volunteers-India-Tent school\" width=\"291\" height=\"218\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We\u00a0also fertilized the ground with own home-made vermicompost! Tent school\u00a0teachers will monitor that maintenance is going on so, hopefully, in some months\u00a0they will count on vegetables grown on their own kitchen garden.\u00a0We consider the day of yesterday a very positive one for SAP-K and Tent\u00a0School. We are proud and happy of our SAP-K and YDP team for helping Yedthadi\u00a0community members and to make SAP-K to go across the boundaries of training<br \/>\ncentre.
