We released 5 kg of worms which will help to\u00a0create powerful, free of cost and organic\u00a0fertilizer\u00a0for\u00a0the plants and trees we have in our field.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/FSL-SAP-K.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-9590\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/FSL-SAP-K-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"FSL-SAP-K\" width=\"239\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/FSL-SAP-K1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-9591\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/FSL-SAP-K1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"FSL-SAP-K1\" width=\"238\" height=\"179\" \/><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><em>This makes us closer to our aim, which is sustainability. We make use of dry leaves, cow dung and\u00a0kitchen waste so we do not depend on the outside to purchase\u00a0fertilizers\u00a0but we are creating it on\u00a0our own recycling different types of waste.<br \/>\nIt has been a long process as we have faced different challenges while building it like dogs eating\u00a0the food (solved by a metal mesh on top of the tank) or red ants being a threat for the worms\u00a0(problem solved with a water pipe that does not let the ants go inside).\u00a0However, we are happy and proud of this work because after few months we will be ready to\u00a0fertile\u00a0our plants and trees with this home-made, organic and effective compost.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last Tuesday, September 23rd was another important day in our training centre due to a big\u00a0improvement in our vermi-composting activities.
