took part in the UNESCO WHV program 2015 staged at Mahabalipuram near Chennai.\u00a0Mahabalipuram is recognized as the world heritage centre by UNESCO as the town consists of the famous architectural remains of the late 728 A.D which ruled by Pallava Dynasty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0773.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9354\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0773-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0773\" width=\"250\" justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Volunteers along with Archaeological Survey of India, The \u00a0Indian Government body indulged in site cleaning work by removing weeds and plastics around the Temples and Caves of Pallava Dynasty.\u00a0Knowing the values of Historical Heritage of Mahabalipuram, volunteers took charge in spreading the awareness to local communities through Awareness Campaigns and Local Community Interaction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_6655.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9357\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_6655-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_6655\" width=\"223\" height=\"167\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0501.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9358\" special activity stating the values of sculptural and architectural work was given Government Architecture and Sculpture College Mahabalipuram whose students actively participated in explaining about the statues and excavations from the site to the volunteers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0014.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9359\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0014-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0014\" width=\"245\" height=\"162\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0038.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9360\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0038-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0038\" width=\"246\" height=\"163\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mass Tree Planting Initiative were took by the Lions club of Mahabalipuram in support with Government Architecture and Sculpture College where Volunteers planted around 60 saplings in the area.\u00a0In order to gain exposure on local tribe and biodiversity,Volunteers had an interaction with local people of Irula Tribal Society at Madras Crocodile Bank Trust hosted by Nature Conservation and Educational Foundation,Chennai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0210-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9361\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/DSC_0210-2-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0210 (2)\" width=\"238\" height=\"158\" \/><\/a> <a
