I won\u2019t be stressed out by small things&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mid-term evaluation was held between 18<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>and 20<sup>th<\/sup> February for NH14 BMZ\/ IJFD volunteers who arrived in the month of August. \u00a0Aim of the MTE is to evaluate the volunteer\u2019s Learnings &amp; contributions in order to develop appropriate strategies to attain quality results. Sessions were planned in a way to create platform for volunteers to evaluate the progress made in the project, based on the expected outcome and also to make space for volunteers to identify and express the new learning \/ knowledge\/ skills gained during the program and to reflect on how it can be helpful in the future.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8581\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE-300x170.jpg\" alt=\"MTE\" width=\"300\" height=\"170\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8582\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"MTE1\" width=\"228\" height=\"171\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Total of 37 volunteers and nine staff were participated in this MTE which was organized in FSL-India youth training centre at Kundapur. Sessions started with the welcome and updates about FSL-India on important events which were shared by the facilitator. Different sessions were conducted such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inter culture learning in the host families,<\/li>\n<li>Friends in the local community, project evaluation buy graph method,<\/li>\n<li>Personal development and<\/li>\n<li>Outlook on the future and discussed on safety of the volunteers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Separate session was conducted to reflect on depth of the intercultural learning and its impacts using Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS) which is also called Bennet scale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8584\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"MTE3\" width=\"228\" height=\"171\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8585\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/MTE4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"MTE4\" width=\"227\" height=\"170\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Volunteers actively participated in every session and shared their experience among the participants by which they got encouragement for their rest of the stay in India.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Our way of dealing with unexpected situation has improved.
