In the west coast of Karnataka, on the shores of Kundapura and Byndoor, seven wounded sea-turtles were found. Injuries are caused by the rough waves of the monsoon season and getting trapped in fishing nets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7571\" alt=\"3\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/3-300x229.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"229\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Upon finding the wounded sea-turtles, local fisherman immediately called up<strong> FSL-India\u2019s Home Based Project (HBP)<\/strong> team members. The rescue operation took place from the 19<sup>th<\/sup> of June to the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> of June, whereby the sea-turtles were treated at the local veterinary hospital and kept in the departmental rescue center.
