The objectives of the FLS are to introduce participants to different organisations and people working in the development field, and familiarise them to such social causes. By witnessing projects and meeting people working in the development field, participants will enhance their understanding of different social causes and see how organisations are working towards them. In addition, these field learning sessions will encourage participants to get involved in working towards issues and causes that are <strong>socially relevant.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 The themes of the FLS will include <strong>environmental conservation, education, disenfranchised\/underprivileged populations, women\u2019s rights and children\u2019s rights<\/strong>. The FLS will be free of cost; however, the cost of transportation will have to be covered by individual participants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Every month, a field visit to a different organisation or project etc. will be organised and will be following the same general schedule:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Presentation of long-term and international volunteering<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Visiting the organisation\u2019s HQ for a presentation of the organisation, meeting the staff and board members<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Visiting the project to meet the beneficiaries and see the workings of the project with a Q&amp;A session<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Debrief<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Our first FLS will take place on the<strong> 14<sup>th<\/sup> of June<\/strong> on the theme of environmental conservation.
