Attending were two international volunteers, one national volunteer and one team leader. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/2014\/04\/educationenvironmentrenovationchildren-workcamp-in-kundapura\/second-painting-group\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7268\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7268\" alt=\"Second painting- Group\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Second-painting-Group-300x200.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Participants built a<strong> sea-turtle information center<\/strong> in Kodi beach and <strong>raised awareness<\/strong> to the fishermen community on the importance of sea-turtle conservation. Volunteers also put on a puppet-show in <strong>Berary Primary School for 60 children<\/strong>, spreading the same idea of sea-turtle conservation.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0As part of the inter-cultural activities, volunteers interacted with local families, went on a boat ride in the backwaters, visited temples and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/2014\/04\/educationenvironmentrenovationchildren-workcamp-in-kundapura\/indian-family-visit\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7269\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-7269\" alt=\"Indian family visit\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Indian-family-visit-300x200.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0A sea turtle conservation\/environment themed workcamp (WC) took place in Kundapura, Karnataka in the month of February 2014.
