Her project is at <strong>\u201cRainbow Home\u201d<\/strong>, a home for abandoned and abused girls. She writes to us about her life as a volunteer&#8230;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &#8220;Every day I am walking down the street to <strong>\u201cRainbow Home\u201d<\/strong>, Vidyaranyapura, B\u2019lore. In the distance I can see the girls waving: \u201cGood afternoon, Miss!\u201d As I am entering the school yard little Asha grabs my hand and smiles at me. She is one of the youngest girls here. She speaks Telugu, I am speaking English and few words of Kannada, so we cannot talk \u2013 nevertheless we can communicate in some way and have great fun together.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 I am in India for five months now. I adjusted well to culture, climate and food and I am more than happy to have the chance to stay here for another six months.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0I am working in a home for abandoned, abused and needy girls. My organization<strong> \u201cNeed Base India\u201d<\/strong> is providing these children with care, protection, love and affection and empowers them through education. Our vision is to stand for the \u2018Child Rights\u2019 and guarantee that every child gets a \u2018Happy Childhood\u2019.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0In the morning I am in office connecting <strong>\u201cNeed Base India\u201d<\/strong> with big companies and raising funds. In the afternoon I spend my time in Rainbow Home playing games, doing sports or arts and giving English spoken classes. Working for \u201cNeed Base India\u201d gives great pleasure to me. Children and staff welcomed me warmly to \u201cRainbow Home\u201d family.
