The theme of this work camp was <strong>education, environment and children<\/strong>. The volunteers worked in a government school in Bangalore, teaching around 80 children about environment related issues such as pollution and conservation, as well as basic Engish schools, educational drawing and wall painting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-6918 alignright\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Bangalore-2-2-300x233.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"233\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The volunteers also had the opportunity to interact with a local family and learn about <strong>Indian culture<\/strong>, take part in a South Indian cooking class, visit a Hin<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">du temple, the Mysore Palace and a zoo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In the month of January 2014, work camp team leader, Manjunath, led a bilateral camp for six volunteers from South Korea.
