They also painted the Special School and cleaned the garden and performed activities with kids and visually challenged children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Inter-cultural Learning:<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>Volunteers visited Muthappan Temple, learnt about Indian cooking, participated in country presentation and visited snake park and Kalari Payat (Martial Arts).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/22.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4745\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/22-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"189\" height=\"141\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/14.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4746\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/14-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"210\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Tibetan Culture \/ Renovation (Dharamsala &#8211; 9<sup>th<\/sup> to 29tjh April)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Number of Volunteers: 8<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Camp Activities:<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>Volunteers were engaged in teaching school children, did educational drawing, painted walls, windows and doors in the class rooms of Naddi School.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Inter-cultural Learning:<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>As<strong> <\/strong>part of inter-cultural exposure volunteers visited Narbulinga temple. They also attending Dalia Lama\u2019s lecture at the main temple and had an audience with His Holiness.\u00a0 They also visited the Main Dalai Lama temple and learnt a bit on Tibetan Cooking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Social \/ Culture (Mount Abu-Rajasthan 9th to 22nd April)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Number of Participants: 6<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Camp Activities: <\/strong>Volunteers conducted activities for children at the school for the Blind, cleaned the paly ground and school campus and taught then basic English, Mathematics and other subjects. They enacted a play which was directed by Mr. Sharma of the Blind school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Inter-cultural Learning: <\/strong>As part of inter-cultural learning volunteers visited nearby Temples and other interesting places in Mount Abu.
