They also did educational drawing and taught to school children of Primary School at Periyapatna. During the second week of the camp volunteers participated in educational drawing, teaching English to the children at Periyapatna Government School and country presentation. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Inter-cultural Learning:<\/strong> Volunteers were invited by the local community to participate in an Indian Wedding. They also visited Temples and participated in Indian Cooking demonstration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/34.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4733\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/34-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a>Yoga \/ Ayurveda \/ Culture (Kerala &#8211; 5<sup>th<\/sup> to 25<sup>th<\/sup> March 2012)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Total Volunteers: 7<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Camp Activities:<\/em><\/strong> Volunteers attended<strong> <\/strong>Yoga lesson every day. They also painted the Special School and cleaned the garden and performed activities with kids and visually challenged children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Inter-cultural Learning:<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>Volunteers visited Muthappan Temple, learnt about Indian cooking, participated in country presentation and visited snake park and Kalari Payat (Martial Arts).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Tibetan Culture \/ Renovation (Dharamsala- 5th to 25th March 2012)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Total Volunteers: 7<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Camp Activities:<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>Volunteers were engaged in teaching school children, did educational drawing, painted walls, windows and doors in the class rooms of Naddi School.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Inter-cultural Learning:<\/em><\/strong><strong> <\/strong>As<strong> <\/strong>part of inter-cultural exposure volunteers visited Narbulinga temple.
