I\u2019m Yuka Iwasawa, from Japan. Now I’ve been staying in India for 3 months. My life here is very exciting! In India people are friendly, energetic, social, diverse in culture and food, and languages. In school, I’m teaching studies (alphabet, counting) and assisting activities (Yoga, brushing) to children with special needs. Sometimes teaching can be difficult, but I feel great when they reach their achievements. I’m feeling I’m able to share good moments with them so I’m enjoying school life.<\/p>\n\n\n

I also have opportunities to experience Indian culture. It’s so much different from Japan. When I had something which I didn’t understand, I tried to ask someone. So now I understand deeper Indian culture and like it with cherishing traditions and living with nature. <\/p>\n\n\n

Indian foods are nice too. At first, I couldn’t eat spicy foods, so my host mother prepared non spicy foods for me. But while I lived here, I got used to it little by little. Now I can eat almost everything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m feeling this experience will bring a positive effect on me and I appreciate the  support from everyone. I will do my best for the rest of my project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
