Number of volunteers: 3 (Italy and S. Korea)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The volunteers painted the walls with educational pictures- ecological and hygiene awareness. The volunteers interacted with tribal children and had activities like singing songs and played games of different countries. They visited the tribal village and interacted with them. Volunteers made presentations about their culture to the children and among themselves.<\/p>\n

Place: Dharamsala.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Theme: Tibetan Culture \/ Kids \/ Environment <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Number of Volunteers: 22 (France, UK, Spain , Belgium, Canada, Mexico and Netherlands)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The volunteers did educational, cultural and construction activities. They rebuilt a wall, did educational paintings and learn about Tibetan culture. They also interacted with the children.The cultural program included a visit to the Dalai Lama temple, Bagru temple and waterfall.<\/p>\n

The third week of the work camp they went for trekking.<\/p>\n

3. Place: Goa\u00a0 Theme: Social\/Kids<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Number of Volunteers: 6 (France, Spain, Netherlands and Hong Kong)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The volunteers did 3 important voluntary works:First, they painted the borders of the walls and around 9 Pillars.Then, they made an educational painting- a big world map on an empty space that pointed important places in the world.They also did some renovation work: repairing metal\u00a0coverings surrounding the building\u00a0for animal protection.Finally, they had some activities with children: teaching sessions for origami, bracelet making, and teaching\u00a0dance, drawings competitions with the children and street play with the theme of First Aid. Volunteers made presentations about their culture to the children.<\/p>\n

4. Place: Kundapur\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Theme: Sea Turtle Conservation\/Environment<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Number of Volunteers: 3 (Canada and <\/em><\/strong>Hong Kong)<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The volunteers had different types of tasks: building turtle information centre, creating awareness about sea turtles with local people, giving them fliers and leaflets. They have activities with the children like singing songs and playing games of different countries and explained about Turtles awareness. Volunteers made presentations about their culture to the children and among themselves. They also learnt about Indian culture by visiting the local people house, Hindu temple and they painted their hands with Henna.<\/p>\n
