{"id":18542,"date":"2020-02-07T11:46:29","date_gmt":"2020-02-07T06:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/?p=18542"},"modified":"2020-02-07T12:25:32","modified_gmt":"2020-02-07T06:55:32","slug":"the-joy-of-seeing-the-results-of-our-efforts-it-was-hard-but-joyful-rather-than-hard-the-24th-happy-move-camp-at-anantapur-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/the-joy-of-seeing-the-results-of-our-efforts-it-was-hard-but-joyful-rather-than-hard-the-24th-happy-move-camp-at-anantapur-india\/","title":{"rendered":"The Joy of seeing the results of our efforts: It was hard, but joyful, rather than hard -The 24th Happy Move Camp at Anantapur, India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hello Everyone&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Namaste to India!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are all the \u201c24th Happy Move Camp\u201d South Korean Volunteers, and our team leaders are Mr Moon Hyun-Yung and Ms Jae-Hun from Team: 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0053.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18548\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>First of all, we were happy to be accepted as a part of the members for the 24<sup>th<\/sup> Happy Move Camp, but there was a little fear coming to India. We worked from 7<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; 17<sup>th <\/sup>January 2020 at schools, and built community toilets in two villages: Guttur and Kurubavandanapalli, in Penukonda Mandala, Anantapur district, which was very close to the KIA Motors Company. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0040.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18543\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With the help of our \u2018\u2019Little Touches\u2019\u2019\nwe have seen bright and colourful changes of the village and the school atmosphere.\nWe felt proud when we saw the mural paintings on the school walls and how they\nget changed! It was great to teach something while serving with the children, the\nsmiles of the local people, and the purity of the children. We became more accustomed\nto our routine and became acquainted with the children who were educated, and the\nIndian students, who lived with us. In particular, the flowers and gifts\nreceived from the children on the last day at the village will never be\nforgotten!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0064-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18554\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0041.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18544\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It was our first overseas service and we started interacting with the Indian people about the local educational system, lifestyle of villagers, and their culture. We have enjoyed ourselves, and it was more empowered to be nice and sincere with the work and the local people. The FSL India team leader and mentors who came to serve together were good in that they served happily, and they made great memories.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0068-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18558\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0044.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18545\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When we first saw the appearance, we were\nsuspicious whether \u2018we could do it\u2019. But we were so happy to learn more about\nwhat we expected by trying to shout with positive and energetic sounds, together\nwith the team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0065-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18555\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We were so grateful to everyone and it is amazing to talk to and get to know many people in such a short time. They were precious days that we might not have again in our life time!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0063-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18553\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/IMG-20200206-WA0066-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18556\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to express our appreciation to our Team leader Manju and Artist Nanda, the FSL India leaders who have always been with us during the 10 days of our volunteer service.
