Our volunteers underwent different practical, theoretical\nand outdoor sessions for their successful journey in India and actively took\npart in each session. FSL India\u2019s facilitators have taken extra care in organising\nthis Orientation, in which some sessions included conflict management, roles\nand responsibilities, culture and Indian lifestyle, safety guidelines information,\nproject introduction and preparation with the coordinator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"736\" height=\"339\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Energiser..jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18310\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Energiser..jpg 736w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Energiser.-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Energiser.-586x270.jpg 586w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 736px) 100vw, 736px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The roles and responsibilities session\nstarted with asking questions on the definition of volunteerism and the\nrequired qualities for a volunteer. They really enjoyed this session which was designed\nlike a group activity. The energisers and group bonding games during the\nOrientation were also a lot of fun. Every evening, the\nFSL India team organised different events for the exchange of ICL\n(intercultural learning) like Henna application and watching a Bollywood movie.\nFSL India also organised some cultural activities in the free time like a tour\nto Kundapur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nthe second part of the session, our volunteers were asked to discuss their\nroles and responsibilities towards the different stakeholders, i.e. FSL India, our\nprojects and the host families. After the volunteers\u2019 presentation, FSL India\u2019s\nfacilitator presented the Roles and Responsibilities of our Coordinator, Project\nand Host Family to the volunteers. Everything\nworked well and we are really satisfied with our work and the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feedback:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We all loved\nthe traditional welcome <\/li><li>&nbsp;Food is perfect <\/li><li>&nbsp;Staff\nare awesome and lot of useful information <\/li><li>&nbsp;Maybe a longer Orientation??
