At FSL India, we\napproach people in many different ways, in school sessions, writing these blog\nposts, creating activities to involve locals, and also using the media to reach\neven more people, to name some examples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG-20191230-WA0012-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18281\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG-20191230-WA0011-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18280\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Displaying\nmessages about a sustainable future on public wall paintings is an artsy way to\ngain much attention. This week, volunteers based at CEL, Shettrakatte and\nKundapur painted messages on walls inside and outside of a tea shop in\nMavinakatte. Encouraging bypassers to keep Mother Earth clean and protect the\noceans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20191217_150041-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18279\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After just a\nfew days, we already received messages from the shop owner. Many people are\nasking about the mural paintings. They are beautiful, who made them? For what\npurpose, so, the shop owner quickly becomes an ambassador for spreading\nawareness and reflection. What will our future look like, how will the future\nof our children be, if we continue living the way we do now?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG-20191230-WA0013-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18282\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Humans will\nalways have an impact on the planet. To this day, that impact has been far from\nonly good. We have already created pollution of such amounts that there will be\nconsequences to deal with for decades and more. Climate change causing people\nto even leave their homes is surely something we all need to stop and think\nabout. What can I do? Use the car less (or not at all), eat more locally grown\nfood. Not buy any more plastics, instead, reusing materials I already have etc.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/IMG-20191230-WA0015-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18283\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"769\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/20191217_130019-769x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18277\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The news that\npeople are noticing our mural art is warmly welcomed. We have made an impact\njust making people stop and reflect.
