Our work was to fertilise different\ntrees: cacao, nutmeg, arecanut and coconut trees. We fed the plants with 45\ntons of manure and covered 15 acres with it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG-20191114-WA0050-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17958\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We worked in teams of 5-10. So, we split the work in\ndifferent steps. That was very good and effective. Some people filled the\nbuckets, some drove the trollies with the buckets to the plants and some put\nthe manure around the plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG-20191114-WA0045-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18173\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We listened to loud music, sang and danced. So, we had a lot\nfun while working! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was quite interesting to get know a farming project. The\nfarm is a beautiful place with a lot of activities like swimming, playing basketball,\nskating, dancing, cooking and doing Yoga. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One day we hiked on a mountain to see a wonderful sunrise.\nAll in all we had a great time there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/IMG-20191114-WA0047-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17955\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the 10th-20th October, we worked with 20 German volunteers on Varanashi Organic Farms.
