FSL India\u2019s CEL at Kundapura had the honour to welcome a group of 50 students from Roshni Nilaya College, Mangalore on 25th<\/sup> of September. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students\nused this chance to get some information on how NGOs work, getting insights on voluntary\nwork and different projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day started with some fun activities. The students also got a tour around the Training Centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then they heard a short introduction on FSL India by our staff and attended a presentation of 2 trainees from Kerala, who shared their experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to their\nstudies, NGOs will certainly play an important role in their future. So, they\nwere motivated to learn about FSL\u2019s experiences and paid attention to the\npresentation on STC, SAP-K, EE and Tent school of the Home Based Projects (HBP).\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore,\nthey got in contact with international volunteers. Everyone was excited to meet\nforeign youth. So, there were a lot of questions on the topics of the system of\neducation, waste management and culture. FSL India provided time to share\nexperiences and to get insights on the different countries of participants\n(India, Germany and Japan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even after lunch, it was difficult to separate the groups of students and volunteers, who were exchanging and discussing thoughts and opinions. In general, it was a lot of fun. FSL India would like to welcome some of our visitors again as national volunteers, and wishes them all the best for their future career!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
