{"id":16870,"date":"2019-08-14T12:29:47","date_gmt":"2019-08-14T06:59:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/?p=16870"},"modified":"2019-08-14T12:29:50","modified_gmt":"2019-08-14T06:59:50","slug":"fsl-india-celebrates-global-common-action-day-for-climate-justice-on-8th-august-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/fsl-india-celebrates-global-common-action-day-for-climate-justice-on-8th-august-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"FSL-India Celebrates &#8216;Global Common Action Day for Climate Justice&#8217; on 8th August 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On 8<sup>th<\/sup> of Aug 2019, FSL-India celebrated &#8216;Global Common Action Day for Climate Justice&#8217;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/3503cc4c-1549-4cd7-8a1c-14bc546476cb-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16879\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>8<sup>th<\/sup> August 2019 also corresponds to the approximate Earth Overshoot Day, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Earth_Overshoot_Day\" target=\"_blank\">E<\/a> which marks the date when humanity\u2019s demand for ecological resources and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year.
