{"id":16677,"date":"2019-08-05T11:56:45","date_gmt":"2019-08-05T06:26:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/?p=16677"},"modified":"2019-08-05T12:07:48","modified_gmt":"2019-08-05T06:37:48","slug":"aipc-pandora-meets-fsl-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/aipc-pandora-meets-fsl-india\/","title":{"rendered":"AIPC Pandora meets FSL-India!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190708-DSC_0558-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16682\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From the 30<sup>th<\/sup> of\nJune to the 20<sup>th<\/sup> of July, a team of 6 teens from Spain arrived in\nBangalore, and started their summer camp journey with FSL-India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190716-DSC_0982-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16705\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The teen group, composed of Paul, Rosa, Martha, Pablo, Manuel and Raquel along with FSL-India&#8217;s Manjesh, delved deep into Indian life, with tasting the Indian dishes, riding in the local transport and experiencing the typical Indian lifestyle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right from the very beginning,\nthe group had a very positive attitude towards Indian life and between the\ngroup of teens, a strong bonding was created. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190716-DSC_0923-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16704\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190718-DSC_0298-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16706\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Spanish teens had the\noccasion to prepare meaningful activities relating to Health and Hygiene issues\nfor the children of the orphanage in Bangalore. Moreover, they also could\nparticipate in the cultural visits at the temple and at the church, as well as\nin the Kundapur market, where they bought some special gifts to bring home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190706-DSC_0325-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16679\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The group reached FSL-India\u2019s\nCentre for Experiential Living at Kundapura on the 5<sup>th<\/sup>, where a huge\nwelcome was waiting for them. Here, the teens could relax, enjoy the peaceful\nsurrounding, trying out special food and also interact with FSL-India\u2019s long\nterm volunteers Alex, Linda and Hanan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190708-DSC_0443-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16680\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A varied and special\nschedule was ready and waiting for them. First thing in the morning, they had a\nYoga session, followed by a tasty Indian breakfast, and then in the afternoon,\na tour of the Centre, while getting to know about the on-going projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190716-DSC_0025-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16700\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190710-DSC_0843-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16688\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/20190716-DSC_0016-Copy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16698\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The group involved\nthemselves into agriculture work, planting vegetable seeds covered by leaves in\norder to keep them wet. Everybody took off their shoes and waded\ninto the watery field. The rain was extra heavy that day and everybody was so\nwet while planting the rice plants, but all the hard work could not take the\nsmile from their faces. An amazing lunch was waiting for them, featuring\ndelicious chicken curry, served to them on banana leaves. This culinary\nexperience was a \u2018first\u2019 for them and everybody recovered their energy very soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A surprise was waiting for\nthe teens: a Host Family visit. The highlight was a\nclimate action protest, where the group joined one hundred students to say and\nemphatic \u201cno\u201d to plastics.
