Over the next 8\nmonths, FSL-India will conduct 25 1-hour sessions every week for students of 8<sup>th<\/sup>\nand 9<sup>th<\/sup> standard. The 100<sup>th<\/sup> Monkey program encourages\nthese students to explore their potential, and creates youth who are self-aware\nand active citizens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190621-DSC_0152-Kopie-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16559\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190621-DSC_0146-Kopie-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16558\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This was our first session at Mavinakatte High School. The\nentire school, including the headmaster and teachers welcomed our facilitators\nwith warmth. We shared our names and our interests, like food and\nhobbies through fun name games. Most of the students were very excited to express\nthemselves, while some of them felt shy to open up to the group, so we gave\nthem their time to start feeling more comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190621-DSC_0068-Kopie-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16547\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190621-DSC_0159-Kopie-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16562\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190621-DSC_0098-Kopie-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16549\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From the beginning, we tried to build a comfortable\natmosphere by using the local language to communicate; playing funny\nice-breakers, and singing a local song together.
