This year,\nas always, we waited with eager anticipation to find out what our Annual Meet\nhad in store for us. It appeared to be a very hush-hush affair &#8211; all queries to\nHR (nosy or otherwise) were politely squashed, so there was no other go but to\nwait patiently. The only information we got was that we would be travelling to\nKundapur, to our beautiful Centre for Experiential Living and of course, the\ndates i.e. 15<sup>th<\/sup>-17<sup>th<\/sup> April 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0144-1-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16303\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of us travelled by bus, some by train, on\nSaturday\/Sunday but all of us got to Kundapur on Monday the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of\nApril, keyed up for some new experiences. We trooped into the dining hall for a\ndelicious breakfast prepared by the bustling staff of CEL, and then went on to\nthe conference room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0104-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16255\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0107-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16256\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There, we met Dharmesh, a reputed business coach who was to\nbe our trainer and business confidante for the next 2 days. We learnt that we\nwere going to join hands and revamp our organisation to fulfil our goals. We, \u2018the\nGroup\u2019 were going to brainstorm and help to create a Business Plan and Strategy\nMap that would take us through the coming year to make all our dreams come true\nand more, besides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0177-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16258\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0086-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16254\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But first, we had a tougher challenge ahead. We divided into\n3 teams and each team had to lower a length of pipe en masse, with only our\nforefingers supporting it horizontally, from below. We tried and tried and\ntried. The funny thing was that even though we were kept lowering our fingers,\nthe pipe kept rising to the ceiling. We just couldn\u2019t figure it out initially,\nbut then we realised it was something to do with the centre of gravity. We\nexperimented with different techniques, shifted people around, finally got the\nhang of it and lowered it to the ground ahead of the other teams. Yay&#8230; we did\nit, got the better of that darn pipe. Now, we were raring to go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0182-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16259\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>It was exciting, fun-filled, exhausting, mind-blowing,\nexhilarating, confusing, enlightening and most of all, fulfilling. We learnt\nabout and discussed the Balance Score Card and its components, i.e. Finance and\nImpact, Processes and People, Success Factors and Timelines, Strengthening and\nExpansion of Partnerships, Redesigning and Capacity Building, Corporate Funding\nand Solidarity Funds, Group Bonding and Promotional Strategies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0203-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16301\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0203-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0203-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0203-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0203-405x270.jpg 405w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0195-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16265\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We split up into groups, talked and talked until we were\nphysically exhausted and mentally drained. At end of it all, we devised a\nStrategy Map and Balance Scorecard for all our programs, came up with a host of\nnew ideas, dreams and schemes to rejuvenate FSL-India in 2019-20.We wrote them\nall down on charts, photographed them, pinned them up, pumped each other up and\nhad a final round of talks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0466-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16290\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0307-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16274\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0340-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"16277\" data-link=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/?attachment_id=16277\" class=\"wp-image-16277\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0446-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16286\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> day, we rose early, had breakfast, jumped into the buses and wound our way to Tin-Ton, a nearby resort, where we played badminton, table tennis, cricket, zipline, plunged into swimming pools, slid down an oversized slide into the pool, had huge barrels of water thrown over us, played water volleyball and \u2018dunking the boss\u2019, did a \u2018rain dance\u2019 and generally had a whale of a time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0287-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16269\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0580-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16296\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0279-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16264\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/DSC_0487-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16292\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All too soon, it was time to leave, so after a delicious lunch, we got into the bus again and traveled back by bus\/train to our respective cities.
