The FSL-India Team was invited by the local Women\u2019s Club, and welcomed by the school teachers, to organise 3 days filled with fun activities for the young girls and boys during their holidays. The facilitators planned a rich schedule to achieve a variety of different goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190410_114805-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16119\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190409_122417-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16115\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190409_103752-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16109\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Every day started with energisers and small\ngames to wake up the students and facilitators and raise everyone\u2019s energy and\nfun level. The camps schedule involved a lot of activities around the topic of\nplastics, recycling and reusing. To recycle an old plastic bottle, the children\nlearned how to grow seeds in it. Also, they were introduced to the idea of\n\u201cEco-Bricks\u201d. At home, all the students patiently filled one bottle with a lot\nof plastic. The FSL-India Team and the\nteachers agreed to conduct a second cooperation project in which we they will\nuse the kid\u2019s \u201cEco-Bricks\u201d to built a bench. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190409_115105-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16111\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190409_115833-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16113\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The children dived deeper into the topic of\nour environment when they created a drama in small groups. They represented their\nresults on a chart of paper, talking about less pollution, too much cutting of\ntrees and the solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190409_121323-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16114\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG-20190415-WA0045-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16127\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190409_115137-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"16112\" class=\"wp-image-16112\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The children\nwere provided with time for individual reflection, i.e. writing a letter to someone\nspecial and with a lot of opportunities to bond in teams with their\nschoolmates. The facilitators conducted a lot of games to support team building\nand collective problem solving. The FSL-India Team could observe great\nimprovements in matters of sharing ideas, discussing thoughts and approaches\nfor solutions, as well as mutual support and help. The kids listened to each\nother, got involved and participated with enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/IMG-20190415-WA0032-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16125\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/20190410_124300-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16120\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule\nalso featured a health and hygiene session. In this, the children discussed\nways of staying healthy but also focused on risks to well-being. Every child, one by one, received the\n\u201cSummer Camp Certificate of Participation\u201d, thank you wishes were exchanged and\na final group photo was taken.
