On 17th<\/sup>\nFebruary, FSL-India\u2019s HBP team and the MSW students from the Master of\nSocial Work Department of Government First Grade College, Tenkanidiyoor visited the Mavinakatte Higher Primary\nSchool. Their purpose was to create an awareness about the environmental issues\namong the village people, along with the schoolchildren which we are facing in our\ndaily life, such as plastic, deforestation, harming the flora and fauna,\ngarbage, pollution etc. A few days before the skit, the MSW students prepared\nthe skit\u2019s storyline and they practiced the skit along with the work camp\nvolunteers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the\ncampaign day, the volunteers, schoolchildren. teachers and MSW students participated\nin the campaign. The rally started from the school, and it went to the\nMavinakatte circle. The children were holding flipcharts with environmental\nthoughts flipchart and shouting slogans about the conservation of Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nvolunteers and children were all gathered together in a circle and they performed\nthe skit well for the people of the community. In the skit, they showed how humans\ncontinue to destroy and pollute Nature. Due to this, there are many natural\ncalamities caused by the negative behaviour of humans towards Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, for all\nthese reasons, we are facing a lot of health problems and the global warming is\ngoing to be more harmful to us. In our skit, FSL-India\u2019s team presented all the\ncritical positions that we are already facing, right now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performance of the skit was greatly appreciated by the public and the children also, were interested about the skit and enjoyed themselves with the volunteers.
