It is a great\npleasure for FSL-India to let everyone know that Shri Pramodh Madhvaraj, our\nhonourable Minister for Youth Empowerment & Sports, Karnataka, visited us today,\nThursday 7th<\/sup> September 2017, at our Centre for Experiential Living,\nKundapur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his\nvisit, he learned about our projects through a photo exhibition, watching a\nvideo about our work and through discussions with our President, Mr. Rakesh\nSoans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a walk around\nour premises, he met the new batch of 30 German and Swedish volunteers. Some of\nthem explained about their expectations, about their experience in India, their\nproject, what brought them here and how their experience has been so far. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, Mr.\nDinakar Shetty, headmaster of Niveditha High School, Basrur, shared his\nexperience hosting short and long term volunteers at his school, for the last 4\nyears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, our Honourable\nMinister wished them all the best for their stay in India and spoke impressive\nwords about our organization. He complimented FSL-India by comparing the saying\nof \u2018Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam\u2019, which in Sanskrit means \u2018the world is one family\u2019 with\nwhat he felt today at CEL, meeting people from all over the world, sharing and\nexchanging learnings and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We expect this visit to be a turnaround with regard to our work with the state government, which can help us to reach much more national youth than reach\u00a0much more national youth than\u00a0we already have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
