FSL-India\u2019s work camp WC-827 was held for 2 weeks, starting from 21st<\/sup> January 2019 and ending with the final evaluation on 3rd<\/sup> February 2019. The theme was Sustainable Agriculture\/ Culture\/ Environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team consisted of Andrea Granata from Italy, Seoyeon Kim and Jeon Hui Yeon from South Korea. The team followed the work camp schedule for 2 weeks, and made the camp successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

First of all,\nwe went to schools for mural painting, helping in teaching Basic English, wall\npainting, bag gardening at the school and other different activities. We also\nhad the opportunity to take a bit part in Sea Turtle Conservation, a topic\nparticularly close to my heart. So, we enjoyed ourselves, especially in the Tent\nschool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, we\ntook part in the activities regarding agriculture, such as sowing, digging and\nso on. It was sometimes hard work, but fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we\nvisited some temples, by which I could know more about Indian culture, and\nIndian families\/workers. It was very interesting to speak with them and see\ntheir work, especially the plastic recycling factory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We improved our social skills, by meeting children and people with different backgrounds, acquired more knowledge about sustainable agriculture, thanks to Manjesh\u2019s explanations, and learned about India, i.e. food, customs and traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In addition,\nI also knew the other volunteers and FSL-staff. They made me feel comfortable\nevery time, so they all are very nice people, and I\u2019m very happy to have met\nthem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of people\nI have met here were so kind, and I have learned lot from their actions. The\nexperience of volunteering here seems to be a great strength in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
