Every month, we organise a cultural event for our regular volunteers and we take them to any cultural and historical places which are located in and around Mysore. Subtle and elegant, Christian weddings are a\nvision in monochrome, but the scenario is a little different as far as\nChristian weddings in India are concerned. Although the basic essence of the\nrituals is the same as that of a traditional Christian wedding, a host of\nethnic Indian rituals have impacted almost all communities throughout the\ncountry. They are a fascinating blend of the minimal Hollywood style Christian\nwedding we see in the movies with adherence to pre and post wedding rituals\nthat are essentially very Indian. Right from the wedding attires, to the bridal\njewelry, Indian Christian weddings are quite distinct from what we imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/CE-Mysore-Jan-2019-3-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14840\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/CE-Mysore-Jan-2019-3.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/CE-Mysore-Jan-2019-3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/CE-Mysore-Jan-2019-3-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/CE-Mysore-Jan-2019-3-360x270.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nthe morning, FSL-India&#8217;s coordinator and the volunteers started their travel\nfrom the meeting point to the place of the cultural event.&nbsp; In the\nbeginning, the Coordinator explained about the activities. Then, he took the 3\nvolunteers to attend the wedding. FSL-India\u2019s Coordinator explained to them\nabout the Indian wedding.
