This year, 20 of us have spent an extremely memorable time at Bangalore, thanks to FSL-India. People always say when you try something that you have never done before, it is called a breakthrough.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Throughout these 13 days, we had plenty of \u2018first times\u2019. We blended into Indian culture by eating with our bare hands, learnt the history of India by visiting temples, a palace and a sand museum; understood the agriculture of India by literally getting involved in vegetable harvesting and cleaning at a farm, did some voluntary teaching and wall painting at VG Kote\u202fschool.<\/p>\n

We were impressed that FSL-India and the school had given a chance for us to work with children, so that the kids could apply what they had learnt during lessons.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

Also, traveling from place to place by riding in the autorickshaw was a unique experience for us as well. These are the things that we do not usually do in Hong Kong as urbanites.<\/p>\n

Besides, we managed to handle cleaning the dishes after each meal, cleaning our house, and washing our clothes without a washing machine, which was tough, but important for us to improve our problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n

We particularly liked the hiking session nearly at the end of the trip It gave us a precious opportunity to refresh ourselves and witness the extraordinary landscapes of Bangalore from the top of Nandi Hills.<\/p>\n

Finally, we appreciate FSL-India for organising and arranging all the activities for us. 2 weeks were more than enough to make us fall in love with this lovely country.<\/p>\n
