At the beginning of June, Spanish students and German volunteers came and helped the FSL team to clean the area, do the weeding and level the ground.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/WP_20170623_026-low.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13349\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/WP_20170623_026-low.jpg\" alt=\"WP_20170623_026 low\" width=\"1000\" height=\"700\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->At the end of June, we started with the plantation of Noni (mulberry) by Felix, who planted the first plant because it was his birthday that day!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, in this medicinal garden plantation work, everyone learnt how to technically plant saplings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG-20170608-WA0031-low.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13352\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG-20170608-WA0031-low.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20170608-WA0031 low\" width=\"1000\" height=\"700\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Why is medicine garden plantation important?\u00a0 Medicine garden plantation has been done at CEL to help the community people. If we teach them the benefits of medicinal plants, we will help them to prevent some diseases of the community members. Moreover, it will help poor families of the community as maintenance is easy, very low cost and most of the plants are available locally!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_20170608_155152-low.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13350 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_20170608_155152-low-300x210.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20170608_155152 low\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_20170628_152736-low.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13351 size-medium alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/IMG_20170628_152736-low-300x210.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20170628_152736 low\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We have planted different medicinal plants, such as lemon grass, pomegranate, tulasi, chakramuni (vitamin plant), kumkum (crocus), turmeric, aloe vera and so on!
