{"id":12903,"date":"2017-03-18T12:46:49","date_gmt":"2017-03-18T07:16:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/?p=12903"},"modified":"2017-08-06T04:29:06","modified_gmt":"2017-08-06T04:29:06","slug":"women-and-anemia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/women-and-anemia\/","title":{"rendered":"Women and Anemia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anemia Control\u2019 and \u2018Hygiene Promotion\u2019 programmes were conducted and organised at 5 villages in Sriperambudur block, Kanjeepuram district.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Awareness-on-anemic-3-low.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12904\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/Awareness-on-anemic-3-low.jpg\" alt=\"Awareness on anemic 3 low\" width=\"1000\" height=\"700\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->These programmes are funded by Apollo Foundation and being implemented by FSL-India during 2016-2017. FSL-India conducted several awareness programmes for anemic women to raise their hemoglobin level and defeat anemia. On January 3, a total of 75 women attended the awareness programme that was conducted. Through these awareness programmes, the behavior and attitude of the women have changed in a positive way. Now they are adding vegetables and food grains to supplement their diet on a regular basis.
