These clubs are groups of high-school children who often meet at school to talk and work on environment-related topics.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0488.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11615\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0488.jpg\" alt=\"dsc_0488\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Every year this Flora and Fauna event has a different topic. For instance, while last year\u2019s topic was \u2018Birds\u2019, this year was \u2018Oceans\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>First of all, we talked about FSL India and our commitment towards environmental protection, specifically, of sea turtles with our Sea Turtle conservation project. Then, our volunteers conveyed a brief presentation about water pollution and ocean conservation where they explained about the harm caused by humans to Sea Turtles as well as their importance regarding ocean and eco-system conservation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0496.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11617 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0496-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"dsc_0496\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0494.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11616 size-medium alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0494-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"dsc_0494\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As we think not everything comes down to talking and listening, we performed a nice role-play\/ puppet show to explain clearly about the life of sea turtles nowadays. We finished with a catchy song about this topic. Before leaving the stage, we made a quiz to see if children had understood our message and we are happy to say they did indeed!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0477.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11614 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/DSC_0477.jpg\" alt=\"dsc_0477\" width=\"302\" height=\"201\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We are happy to have been part of this event and we highly encourage every school and high school to boost their eco-clubs and meet, at least, once in a month.
