The last three month I had the chance to work with FSL India. My project is an Orphanage near Mangalore and I am staying here with another volunteer from Germany, Pauline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11299\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/2.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"1000\" height=\"602\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more-->Even though in the beginning everything felt a bit overwhelming for me now I like the work very much. Especially the children at my project are wonderful and I really love to spend time with them. As I am not really good in sp<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">eaking Kannada we developed something like an English-Kannada-Mix to communicate and we under<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11298 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/1-2-300x180.jpg\" alt=\"1-2\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" \/>stand each other nearly all the time. I am already afraid of the moment I will have to say good bye to them but\u00a0luckily there are still another eight month for me at this place.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also I am enjoying Indian culture a lot. I think Mangalore is a great city even if it\u2019s not that touristic and I am getting to know a lot of places here. Also the food is amazing and I hope that in the end of my year here I am able to name all the different foods like actually saying \u201cBiryani\u201d instead of \u201cyellow rice with vegetables\u201d\u2026 I think the last three month was quite challenging for me but I am sure that it is absolutely worth it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, my name is Luise and I am from Germany.
