FSL-India Organized a work camp at Kundapur from 8th<\/sup> to 19th<\/sup> August-16. The theme of the work camp is Agriculture, Yoga, Culture & kids.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>During the first week of camp conducted Indian welcome, worked for rain water harvesting by renovating trenches in FSL-India training centre, Planted fruit plants, visited Organic farm, Kundapur town tour, Painting and educationaldrawing at school & session on deforestation, Had yoga session.<\/p>\n

\n<\/a>Second week of the camp Celebrated Independence day at Mavinkatte school and participated in the reprogram,Visited cashew factory to know about cashew-nut processing and had interaction with workers, nursery management activities by filling bags and transplanting 137 mango and cashew samplings, Visited Nammaboomi local NGO, henna culture activity, conducted country presentation of Spain, France, United Kingdom, Canada and children were curious to know about other countries,\u00a0 Had session\u00a0 at Mavinkatte primary school to sensitize about child right and performed role play about child rights, Bollywood dance facilitated by Mr. Jeevan, Final day visited Kumbhashi Ganesha temple, Koteshwar Kotilingeswara temple, Koteshwar Lake, Hanuman statue and visited Indian family and participated in Laxmi pooja.<\/p>\n

Planned all activities completed by team work. During the camp Ms. Berta, Mr. Aniol, Ms. Amaia, Mr. Josu from Spain, Ms. Maria Gricinda from UK, Ms. Elianore\u00a0 & Mr. Clement from France, Ms. Lindsay from Canada and team leader Ms. Manjula, Ms. Marta and TC volunteers & staff took part in this work camp. Volunteers enjoyed having hand in experience and having interaction with school children enjoyed the work and understanding about different cultures. Mavinkatte school appreciated the effort and contribution of volunteers.<\/p>\n
