Our Mysore FSL Coordinator took the three Volunteers to <strong>Chamundi hills<\/strong>. (Chamundi hill is located 13km east of Mysore). The temple has a quadrangular structure. A key feature is the statue of Mahishasura bearing a sword in his right hand and a cobra in left hand. She is seated with her right heel pressed against the lowest of the seven chakras).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<strong>Mysore Market: <\/strong>Market is an apt place to get a flavour of the local people\u2019s daily life with more than 100 years of <a href=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Cultural-Event-Mysore-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-11919\" src=\"http:\/\/fsl-india.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/Cultural-Event-Mysore-2-183x300.jpg\" alt=\"cultural-event-mysore-2\" width=\"183\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>history this market is well knitted into the heritage of Mysore.
