The Scholarship Program of FSL-India is designed to give a
unique opportunity to young people from Eastern Europe, South and
Central America, Africa and some Asian countries to come to India and
participate in Long Term Volunteering Projects.
Complete Board & Lodge and local transportation and a monthly
pocket money (amount depends on the on the level) will be provided for
the entire duration of the program. The minimum duration of the program
is 6 months, with a possibility to extend.
The volunteers will attend an orientation week on arrival, and will
then start working from the second week onwards.
However, we accept only participants who come recommended by our partner their country.
Enclosed you will find the different possibilities and requirements we have to our applicants:
Level
1
Scholarship consisting of:
- Half the plain ticket or INR 20,000/- Which ever is less. This amount will be paid in four parts.
- pocket money during internship period
- Accommodation and food will be provided.
Requirements:
The person has to have minimum previous experience in the job applying
for and in management and has to commit for at least 1 year.
Selection:
The first selection of candidates will be done by the partners.
The final selection will be done by the FSL Board using the application
form, CV and at times telephonic interview.
Level 1 positions:
Coordinators, who will handle all kind of organizational and
administrative work for the projects.
Level
2
Scholarship consisting of:
- INR 10,000/- as part of the flight ticket. This amount will be paid in two parts.
- pocket money during internship period
- Accommodation and food will be provided.
Requirements:
The person has to have minimum previous experience in the job applying
for and has to commit for at least 6 months.
Selection:
The first selection of candidates will be done by the partners.
The final selection will be done by the FSL Board using the application
form, CV and personal interview.
Level 2 positions:
Participants will do supportive and assistant work to the coordinators.
