To commemorate the World Health Day, the Chennai Facility team of FSL India conduct health awareness program in child care centre at Pennalur on 11^th April 2012. It was found that the children at Pennalur were not aware of personal hygiene.  And therefore, children, parents and  SGH members were invited to participate in the program. About thirty children, ten SHG members and two staff from child care centre attended the awareness program. FSL India staff after educating on personal hygiene to the assembled crowd and demonstrated on how to trim nails and comb hair. FSL India team also distributed foot-wears to the children. In order to ensure that the children take the responsibility to live healthy and hygienic life, school teachers and parents were also educated on health and hygiene to guide the children.
