Under the DVP project, various issues related to the health and hygiene is educated among women and school children. The Hygiene and health issues related to “Cervical and Breast Cancer” was conducted among the community of women (65 women participated) at Mevalurkuppam on 2nd April 2015 and for the (90 girls participated) adolescent girls on 7th April 2015

Ms. Jona Kala from the Radiology department of Stanley Hospital chennai facilitated the training. The information on the biological concepts of Breast cancer, symptoms of breast cancer, causes of breast cancer, self analysis, prevention of breast cancer were provided to the gatherings. Finally the doubts were clarified by the resource person at the end of the session.
