In the month of February, volunteers from FSL India’s Home Based Projects have done awareness painting on 2 walls in front of Kandloor Primary School, with environmental messages about recycling and 4 smaller visualisations of different ecosystems in Nempu School. Our main goal of the pictures is to increase awareness about topics of sustainability and how the people passing by can have a positive effect in their everyday life.
We had drawn one more awareness message painting in Navunda Badakere school. These pictures are from the projects of Sea Turtle Conservation and Environmental Education. The topics focus mostly on problems related to marine life, the balance of ecosystems and pollution. Mankind managed to live without major destruction of its surroundings for thousands of years. We hope to affect everyone seeing our pictures and reading our messages in a positive way.
People can be good to nature whether in the oceans, or on the land. We just need to remind the people to awaken them and to conserve our planet for a peaceful future.
