To promote world peace…and natural resource management and socio economic development of local community” is one of the mission of FSL India.

Accordingly the Chennai office took one more initiative to promote the peace from a local community through a CSR project called “Community asset creation at Thandalam Village Panchayath”. This program is sponsored by the corporate company Hyundai Dymos  Lear Private Limited at Irunkattukottai, Sriperumbudure-Chennai.

Creating awareness session on the roles and responsibilities of Public property maintenance committee members is one of the components of the project accordingly a group of selected volunteer members were formed as  Public property maintenance committee and conducted an awareness session on 29^th June-2016.

During the meeting it was discussed about the roles and responsibilities of the members to preserve the public properties such as Schools, Temples, street lights water tank and pipes and the water reservoir like the Pond etc. To understand the goal and aim of the committee, the members were enlightened on the meaning of Public property and listed out the number of movable and immovable properties of their own village and the each individuals duties and responsibilities to preserve these properties in common and the village pond in a specific way. They all have actively participated and came forwarded to take the responsibility to maintain the properties with an expressed willingness.
