In March 2019, FSL-India’s volunteers at the Centre for Experiential Living, Kundapur started to build an Eco Bench. Plastic was collected from nearby shops and local people in order to reuse it for the Eco Bricks. Summer Camp at FSL-India’s CEL

From 11th to 13th of April, FSL-India’s staff and volunteers conducted a summer camp at our Centre for Experiential Living, Shettrakatte with the support of the Social Work students from Milagres College, Kallianpur. On 11th April morning, FSL-India’s staff welcomed around 80 kids of different ages, and in the circle everybody played fun energiser games and shared their names with the group: a nice atmosphere was created. In March 2019, we started to refill used plastic bottles with plastic trash. The previous volunteers from the Environmental Education (EE) Project already began the project of building one bench with eco bricks. We already had around 120 eco bricks from last year, so we needed only 60 more eco bricks for finishing our eco brick bench. Eco bricks are made out of plastic bottles filled with plastics waste.
