Orientation Bangalore region, February

FSL India has hosted 4 long Term Volunteers from Germany, Sweden and America. Volunteer has gone through the different sessions, to prepare themselves for their successful journey in India. Regarding orientation,  we usually carry out different activities during orientation week such as Indian welcome, expectation and fear conflict in communication, Safety, Understand cultural indicator, Introduction about FSL India, Indian lifestyle, Social concerns of India, project information, Indian pedagogy, volunteer’s role and responsibility and Hindu philosophy.

We also played Place for Peace games where volunteers really had fun. Overall we felt that our volunteers will keep the volunteering spirit with them to bring changes in their and also in others life and will carry the same excitement throughout the stay.
