Monuments and school activities of 17th HMC at Delhi
FSL India – organised a 17th Happy move camp “Save Our Heritage”
An awareness drive on India’s pride a global CSR initiative of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), in collaboration with Better world organisation (BWO) and Archaeological survey of India (ASI) at New Delhi with the coverage of four historical monuments and Delhi Tamil Education Association schools with facilitating of 85 international volunteers and 24 national volunteers. This initiative had taken from 10th – 21st July 2016.
The volunteers done the maintenance activities in Gardening, Plantation, fixing of Barry Guard, installation of Garbage bins, awareness education on heritage conservation and drawing completion to school children and intercultural events and exchange. Through this camp the volunteers had brought the good environment in monuments and schools.
The activities were designed by undersatanding and observising the real needs of the monuments and schools as well. This has created and incorporate the participate approach and development aspects of the term volunteerism.
