Mid-Term Evaluation for FSL-India’s Long Term Volunteers from Pondicherry and Kanchipuram

Mid-Term Evaluation for FSL-India’s Long Term Volunteers from Pondicherry and Kanchipuram

In the month of February 2019, FSL-India’s LTV Bangalore region organised a Mid-Term Evaluation (MTE) for our Pondicherry and Kanchipuram Long Term Volunteers, at Pondicherry.

The event took place between 14th to 15th February 2019, at Pondicherry. In Pondicherry, there were around 18 volunteers from AFS and IJGD, Germany who took part in the evaluation.

The main objective of the MTE is to evaluate the volunteer’s learnings and contributions, in order to develop appropriate strategies to attain quality results. To create a platform for volunteers to evaluate the progress made in their project, based on the expected outcome. Make space for volunteers to identify and express the new learnings/knowledge/skills gained during the program, and to reflect on how it can be helpful in the future.

The LTV team organised different activities like personal development, outlook on the future, project challenges and progress, cultural and intercultural learning, and baseline survey. We also conducted some games and energisers to make the evaluation more interesting.
